The 2026 Landauer Volksfest opens Friday 26 June with an 18:00 ceremony and fireworks the same night, then builds through a week shaped around specific audiences rather than one big weekend: Tuesday 30 June is Familiennachmittag, with reduced ride prices from 13:00–18:00 and a free Kasperltheater puppet show for kids. Rather than tapering out after that, the festival closes with a genuine programmed finale — Wednesday 1 July's Volksfestausklang, with the band Herb'n Beets playing live in the Festzelt.
